Low Prices On Daguerreotype Photographs
A Daguerreotype was the beginning of photography and one of the first photograph images formed on a silver plate. This technique was developed by Louis Daguerre and Joseph Niepce. The image was produced with an amalgam. The image could be rubbed off easily so it was sealed in a protective case. This was a labor-intensive project and the chemicals of mercury and silver proved to be dangerous. Historical daguerreotypes are considered to be antiques and very collectible.
